Main responsabilities
Carry out preliminary site visit and draw up action plan;
Produce and order a complete materials list for the project;
Communicate personnel and equipment requirements to the Construction Operations Manager;
Establish site work schedules and follow-up;
Ensure compliance with specifications for materials to be installed;
Act as technical manager and ensure compliance with plans and specifications;
Verify, control and actively supervise worksites;
Evaluate the cost of worksite memos drawn up by team leaders concerning excess or unforeseen work on the contract (contract amendments);
Produce progress statements;
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
