Key Responsibilities:

  1. Store Operations:
    • Oversee and manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and store cleanliness.
    • Ensure that the store is adequately stocked, organized, and visually appealing according to company standards.
    • Monitor and manage store inventory levels, including receiving and restocking merchandise.
  2. Customer Service:
    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
    • Train and support staff in customer service best practices and sales techniques.
    • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  3. Staff Management:
    • Supervise, motivate, and lead store staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and stock clerks.
    • Schedule and assign tasks to ensure efficient store operations and adequate coverage during peak times.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any staff issues or conflicts.
  4. Sales and Marketing:
    • Drive sales by implementing promotional activities, sales strategies, and visual merchandising techniques.
    • Monitor sales performance, set sales goals, and work with staff to achieve targets.
    • Analyze sales data and customer trends to identify opportunities for increasing store revenue.
  5. Inventory Management:
    • Conduct regular inventory checks and audits to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
    • Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and returning merchandise as needed.
    • Ensure proper handling and storage of products to maintain quality and prevent damage.
  6. Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure that store operations comply with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
    • Implement and enforce health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for staff and customers.
    • Handle cash and financial transactions accurately and securely, following company protocols.
  7. Reporting and Administration:
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, staff performance, and other key metrics to store management.
    • Maintain accurate records of transactions, staff schedules, and store operations.
    • Assist in managing store budgets and controlling expenses to meet financial goals.
