Responsibilities
Tasks
Load and unload merchandise
Drive trucks or articulated units to transport goods or materials
Monitor vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Inspect trucks before, during and after the trip and monitor all aspects of the vehicles
Receive and transmit information to central dispatcher
Record information on loads, hours of service, distances traveled and fuel consumption
